TRAVEL DIARIES
Ireland, tis Ireland
- by Jean Lewis
The Canadian girls visit your land
Tom drove us all across the countryside
With open mouths and eyes so wide
On roundabout, round and round
We went from town to town
We started our tour in Dublin
And on to Rathdrum
Not to Wexford
But to Waterford!
Made our way to Blarney
And then off to Killarney
A jaunty ride took us to a park
No one was kept in the dark!
The Blarney Stone, some did kiss
Deidre saw to it that nothing was amiss
Susan, our Canadian leader is a gem
Taking photo's, so we will have them
The beautiful glens of Irish green
The most wonderful sights you have ever seen!
The Irish pubs
With lots of grub
We leave behind the lambs and sheep
We are going home with memories to keep
Lots of friends we have met
Lots of pictures we did get
Tis, Ireland, tis Ireland.
