TERMS & CONDITIONS
Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc), is an all female vacation group whose travel arrangements are handled by UNIGLOBE Instant Travel Inc which is a licensed and bonded Ontario travel agency. As members of TICO, Uniglobe Instant Travel arranges itineraries and travel details for Broad Horizons with leading suppliers of hotels, airlines, railroads, cruise-lines, and other providers of accommodation, transportation or other services. Broad Horizons and Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc, make every effort to ensure that the quality of the services rendered by the suppliers is consistent with the descriptions provided. Please note that pictures and photographs are not intended to be guarantees of all the attributes represented. From time to time, specific services may not be available for reasons beyond the control of Broad Horizons/Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc. We do however strive to obtain the best value for our dollar and obtain any savings we can on all trips organized.

All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets ("the travel documents") are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which such services are provided by the suppliers. Your acceptance and use of such travel documents shall also evidence your consent to the following conditions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is mandatory for any trip taken with Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel.) Comprehensive Coverage which includes Out of Country Medical and Cancellation & Trip Interruption is required. If you have travel insurance through an employer or credit card company etc please provide your policy number and details to confirm that travel insurance conditions have been met.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
It is your responsibility to have your passport, travel visa, or other documentation in proper order.     It is recommended that your passport is valid for 6 months past your departure date from destination.

SMOKING POLICY
All sleeping rooms are reserved as non-smoking. The exception to this rule is that it has been mutually agreed by both parties sharing the room that smoking is accepted by both travellers. In this case, please notify Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc) so that the necessary arrangements can be made for a smoking room. ALL ROOMS ARE INITIALLY RESERVED AS NON-SMOKING. Travellers are required to abide by all "NO SMOKING" rules imposed by our suppliers and their agents.

REQUIRED TRAVEL VACCINES & MEDICATIONS
It is your responsibility to contact your family doctor or travel clinic concerning what is best for your own health. Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc) cannot be responsible for any illness contracted while on a vacation. Your family doctor or community health unit will advise what vaccines or medications are required for the destination. (e.g. vaccines for malaria, yellow fever, hepatitis, etc.)  It is recommended that regular inoculations are always up to date.

FREE ROOMMATE MATCHING SERVICE
Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc) offers a roommate matching service that has been designed to eliminate the cost of the "single supplement". We have "shares" available for most trips so don't hesitate to contact us if you are travelling alone. (Our trip pricing is based on double occupancy.) Should you require a roommate it is recommended that you book early to avoid disappointment. "Shares" although not guaranteed are carefully matched with a compatible roommate. In the event that a roommate is not available, the opportunity to join the tour is still available by paying the single supplement.

Need a roommate? - just email us at info@broadhorizonsnetwork.com We arrange a roommate match by looking at the age of the traveller, their interests, level of travel experience, where they are from and combine this with conversations and emails to carefully match the roommates.

TOUR GUIDES & ESCORTS
The Broad Horizons team works closely with Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc, as well as leading travel suppliers and tourism boards to provide our members with the best travel experience possible. Each group will travel with a professional tour guide, as well as local guides at destination. In addition, BH groups will also travel with an experienced Broad Horizons group leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF TOUR COMPANIES, CRUISE LINES, AIR LINES
Specific conditions for each travel supplier are listed in the suppliers travel brochures for your reference. In addition you are advised to read all your travel documents carefully when you receive them from the travel supplier.
Information below is listed only as an example of what is typically seen on supplier brochures &/or tickets.

l. That neither the Company nor its affiliates, agents or employees shall be liable for any loss, injury, damage or claim to any person or property unless it arises from the intentional act of negligence of any one for whose actions the company is responsible.

2. The rates quoted are in Canadian Dollars (unless specified as U. S. dollars) and are those in effect at the time printing. Should tariff or exchange rates vary at any time prior to the date of travel, the companies reserve the right to change the stated rates without notice.

3. That neither Broad Horizons, Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc, nor the supplier, nor its affiliates, agents or employees shall be liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient passport, VISA, or other documentation.

4. That you will sign on request, an authorization to use the credit card whose number you have provided in payment for these services.

5. Your air ticket, cruise ticket, land package ticket, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between you and the appropriate supplier.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:
We are pleased to accept payment in Cash, Cheque, Debit Card, Visa, MC, AX.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:
In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your trip we must receive notification in writing by fax, email or regular mail service. The cancellation date will be the date your notice is received by Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc).

Cancellation charges:
76+ days prior to departure - deposit is non-refundable
75 days or less prior to departure – 100% of tour cost is non-refundable

Please note: it is strongly recommended that you purchase cancellation insurance.

*A minimum number of passengers is required for group travel. If that minimum number is not attained, Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc) reserves the right to cancel the trip and a full refund will be provided to each passenger. When travelling with Broad Horizons (a division of Uniglobe Instant Travel Inc) our members can feel secure knowing that their safety and their travel experience is our number one concern!
