City Gets Its Kicks in Cool Companies

London is filled with quirky 'niche' businesses.

Call them interesting or even a bit out there, but definitely call them part of the Forest City.  We have many businesses that offer services and products outside the mainstream.

But it's part of what make London unique, said Kadie Ward of Downtown London.

"We're seeing an opening of the metropolitan market in these niche, unique venues because people want creative choices" she said.

Broad Horizons is a travel company that offers trips for females only.

"There are so many women who love to travel but have no one to travel with.  It gives them that security and safety, and they can have fun too," said Bonnie Hinschberger, Project Manager for Broad Horizons.
